Clownin' Around Poem by Breanna Koelliker

Clownin' Around

Fears are everywhere,
Your fears wait for you,
My fear may be a joke to you,
Come take a walk in my shoes,
I'll let it convince you otherwise,

From the music to the face paint,
The red nose to the goofy outfits,
They all taunt me greatly,
I've been traumatized for the rest of my life,

It's like a trance of hate that can't be forgotten or left behind,
Coming close to them sends a flashback of terror inside of my mind,
It's a feeling that I can't describe,

I can't send it out of my body,
I can't get it away from me,
Now matter how hard I try to get rid of my fear,
I cannot deny
