Unspoken Poem by Breanna Koelliker

Painful words should be left unspoken,
That way no one feels broken,
Things are said that make us cry,
Things are said that make us say goodbye,

Good things never stay,
They always take themselves away,
People leave,
People change,
They go so far they’re out of range,

Why can’t they stay forever?
It’s a feeling that makes us surrender,
I know forever is a while,
But throughout time they make us smile,

Tears are let out not kept in,
I think if they were it would be sin,
Why can’t they just stay forever?
