Clutter Poem by Lisa Durrett

Clutter

Rating: 5.0

An open door now closes, unaccepting unwanted garbage.
I can barely see.
No longer an opportunity to dropp off negativity.
Understanding and acceptable as your thoughts may be, they are yours alone.
My life is not yours although you gave me a safe haven to reside in, I; ve grown. Moved on in life to experience all it has to offer. My own mess is all I am willing to deal with..
Voiced out of love but filled with laughter cuts through me. painfull as it may be, your love has sustained me throught my years, But the clutter is just too much..
Say what you must, I am a woman with choices. No need to play games. Smiles can reveal what you think you hide.
I’m cleaning house. Newness of my life is unwilling to share your mindset of pleasing you. My heart deserves to smile more than crying. so today I take my first step in saying no more.

Clutter, garbage - we all need to toss it at times in our lives. Do a thorough house/life cleaning! Great poem, Lisa. Keep writing! A '10! ' Best Wishes, Marilyn
