Coffiee - Crush Poem by Subarna Chakraborty

Coffiee - Crush

Today I woke up, reaching for my coffee mug,
And I stared at the shelf.
I saw my twin mug resting there.
A thought moonwalked through my mind:
What if I give it to you?
Later, I opened my wallet
And found your visiting card.
I thought about asking you for a coffee.
My phone rang, just a business call.
I half-expected your name to pop up on the screen.
As I walked down the road,
I thought I should take a walk to you,
Invite you for a coffee.
It's hard to tell
If I'm falling for you
Or just for the coffee.
