Cold Silence Poem by Ron Schmidt

Cold Silence

Rating: 5.0

The silence of the night
is the winters delight
snow that muffles the sounds
are billions of snow flakes
compacting down.

See that snow flake coming down
I will catch it on my tongue
and it will dissapear, melting
and it will be done.

The beauty of a single snow flake
as you can see, under a microscope
is unique as you'll agree

Not two are alike nope there will never be
another as unique like, you or me.

Very nice imagery, Ron! Yes, we like each snowflake are unique, no other like us in this world. Even identical twins are not totally alike! Great poem! RoseAnn
