Cold Winter Chill Poem by Marilyn Lott

Cold Winter Chill

Brrrr it's getting cold outside
A deep chill is in the air
I'd like to go out walking
But I don't think I would dare

The snow is piling up fast
The kids attempt to play
Wrapped in warm clothes tightly
Too cold for them to stay

Lakes have frozen over
There's a stillness in the air
A winter scenic picture
For all of us to share

Holidays will soon surround
Us and those we know
To complete a perfect ending
Before the year has to go

But then it changes once again
And change it surely will
But for now we enjoy or tolerate
A Cold winter chill!
