College Days Poem by Joyce Hemsley

College Days

A love story sweet my mind is weaving
It's you and it's me, so in love you see.
Togetherness is simplicity.

Come take my hand, lay by my side
Forget about school - enjoy the oncoming tide
Sing me your song, let the words drift along
And tell me love has not died.
Walking alone holds no joy for me
Each hour that passes is 'misery'
School friends neglect me and leave me
Students flirtatious are eager to tease me.
But when I'm with you, life's a symphony
You've stolen my heart believe me.

A love story sweet my mind is weaving
It's you and it's me, so in love you see
Togetherness is simplicity.
