Colloquials Poem by Keila Lozada

Colloquials

Southern drawls
lazy, slow
Like the hot summer afternoons
Lasting forever
Northern crisp accents
like the bite of Washington apples
Everything in it's place
Western manifestations
taken from the earth
Driven from the sunset skies
Eastern expressions
brought from the Mayflower
Lineages sublime
