Colonoscopy Poem by Ibrahim Ibn Salma

Colonoscopy

Follows its ancient path,
As the serpent crawls in
Human plumpness,

*

Flowing into quietude,
With a sharp focused eye,

*

Calmly observing –
Peacefully searching,
As it fulfills its destiny.

Very interesting write. I'm very familiar with colonoscopy and wouldn't have characterized it this way...as a metaphor for an inner seeker...but yes, the metaphor carries through well. Nicely written! Thanks for sharing.
