Color Poem by Sharon Goodwin

Color

Rating: 5.0

Color means nothing, yes thats right
Whether he's black, green, red, or white
Color means nothing, Uh huh thats right
Can't tell me Im color blind, cause my husband is white
White I said and Im dark as night
When we make love he's so precise
Chocolate and vanilla swirl sounds so nice
Nice is his body and intellect is what I like
Rap is not the hottest, but his favorite is white stripes
Color is not my problem, but for many it might.
Words will be said mostly out of spite
Outsiders looking in will be outright
Rude and mean and wont think twice
I ignore the ignorant and will stand for my right
That color means nothing, yes thats right

A lot of important truths here. My blind friend doesn't care much about color. He's white and his dog is black. Regards Ron

THIS POEM IS EPIC! ! ! You first write about how you don't care about color, then you say your man's white, then you talk about weird yin yang s**, and then go back to how you don't care. I love it! Extreme kudos to you- =D XOxo Jade Harmony XOxo
