Before Artemis became goddess of the moon, the Titaness Selene owned the moon chariot, which she drove across the sky at night. 'Sphinx': A Sphinx was a mythical monster, which had the head of a human and the body of a lion. The Riddle of the Sphinx is probably the most famous riddle from antiquity. It has its origins in a familiar story from Greek literature, in particular the Theban trilogy by Sophocles. Sphinxes also appeared in Egyptian mythology; the two cultures had tight links and had considerably influenced each other. 'Eddie': Eddie (1996) .
