Colors Of The Night Poem by jodde taylor

Colors Of The Night

A rising in glorious shine,
this evenings grace,
leans upon a thousand stars,
our hearts run,
along with contentment.

Wishes made in a million,
counted lights,
for us two, to wonder,
at the nights colors,
our love, a cherished hour.

Moments in duplicate,
caressed by a wanting of time,
multiple layers, of sweetness,
your loving ways give to me.

No longer a shadow,
of a waving night,
you have brought beauty,
to each second, with just a smile.

My forever now,
you sing in words,
of both joy and sorrow,
though my love unfolds,
to keep you here, in my arms,
speak of all you dream.

So many days, and nights,
to find promise, in a hopeful forte,
to simply love you more,
and these blissful colors,
of an evening hour,
shall take us away.

Our home shall be our heats,
our palace, built on divine love,
each piece of life, we shall acquire,
may our colors shine,
through every passing parade,
a tear shall mend,
my heartbreak, should you wander,
too far away from me.

My love, my colors of the night,
glistening in chapters,
of beautiful delight,
you have given every dimension,
a new beginning,
and I am lost in your ways,
my loveliest of honey bees,
buzz! buzz! ...around my tender ears....
