Coma Boy Poem by Marvo (Andy)

Coma Boy

Rating: 3.8

He'd always been a dreamer
So often had his fingers burnt
Determined to keep dreaming
I guess he never learnt
So many years a dreamer
Reality to him seemed so unreal
He hid himself from everyone
Because he didn't want to feel
Then finally he reached it
The point of no return
His rocket had run out of fuel
Time to crash and burn
At last he dreamt a future
Of somewhere in the sky
The nurse said gently "please wake up"
But he didn't even try

A lovely yet sad poem, nicely written piece. I hope he wakes soon.
