Come Again Poem by Poemahontas Poemadonna

Come Again

Don't be amazed
When I win
I'm a slave
With the pen

Not enslaved
In the pen
It's engraved
In my skin

Some afraid
Of my skin
Jesus paid
For my sins

Not afraid
Don't pretend
Won't behave
Just like them

Life's a maze
Back again
God forgave
Those bad men

.....of the braves
Who are them?
Not the slaves
Come again.......

Blacks portrayed
Less than men
Still betrayed
See no end

Still I pray
God bless them
Like the slaves
Still condemned

Streets are paved
Roads will end
Home of slaves
Born again

Ride the waves
Coming in
Better days
Come again.........
