Black People Poem by Poemahontas Poemadonna

Black People

Rating: 5.0

50 shades of black
We're colorful people
True freedom we lack
Hardly treated equal

Free with no rights
Now how is that right
No coloreds allowed
This is only for whites

Slaved, tortured,
Killed, raped
The law allowed
This to take place

History repeats
History erased
Condemned by man
Because of your race

An insightful portrayal of racism as man inhumanity to man. Colonialism, racism, slavery... have all subjected black people to a life of cruel fate. Thanks you so much for this poem.
