Come Away With Me - Poem by Melissa Buhagiar

Come away with me my lover
to the forests of the north
to the river running wild
where the whispering winds do dance
and the songbirds do sing
echoing my souls song of love
that plays within the heart of me
and within the heart of you.

Come away with me sweet girl
Come far away,
were dissapointment can never find us
and let go of everything.

Cast aside your fears
let loose all your woes,
travel with me for always
my darling
and always keep me close.

Close to you
for all time
close in body,
and mind
and soul,
let me be your forever baby
and promise me
with deepest sincerity...that you'll never let me go.
