Come Back - Poem by Naomi Burdett

come back baby
i need your love
we are a part
of one
one human
one feeling
one thought
we belong together
without you i break down
your always on my mind
its killing me inside
i never knew that love
could feel like
being impaled on a weather vane
then being tugged off
and pulled through a dark and dry wood
and all i can see
through the tears in my eyes
is your beautiful face
like an angel taking me to death
but the only thing is
you cant be mine
come back baby
i need you! ! !

the imagery used in this poem is strong and beautiful.
I would have merged a few of the earlier lines to keep the meter more consistant.
