Come To Lyfe Poem by Bragg Adocio

Come To Lyfe

Rating: 2.7

Pulsing lights pull us closer as the beat drops to the rhythm of our sweat.
Just a simple lean forward.... heart racing.... adrenaline pumping.... it felt like one of my dreams..... but, only, this tyme..... I ddnt wake up. Was I trapped in a daymare? Lost in the ever reaching scope of things? The stars in her eyes? Or, is it that my imagination was playing magic trix on my mind to a tough crowd of awakened beings?

The movement of her hips, the feeling of her skin, the passion in her eyes.... and then, a smile... and she's only having fun. But where do I go from here? Is the story over? Last chapter? Or has it only conceived? sometymes I feel as if the world behind my REM is more real than the one where I live and breath. So it leads me to question.... are my dreams... really, dreams? Did I but just wake up today?

Spinning, twirling, rocking... dropping, as the beat drops... slows to that which is half our heart beats. In sync to Boys2Men. And just when I thought we couldn't get much closer.... you show me tht 1+1=1 when you wrap their arms around each other.

'And then he looks into her eyes, leans in and.....! '
STOP!
Cut, cut, cut! Somebody push pause on this movie! When I said that the actors are meant to improv, I meant to stay within the guidelines given.
Stop trying to break the laws of physics, we all know that 1+1=2. Go back to school and get your edumacation.

but I hav learned all I need to learn.... about her. And they dnt teach social skillz in school. They dnt teach you how to...
DNT... even use that sinful word when you barely even know what it means! You know what, just lay on the table and I can hav your heart reworked into, or re-written into, a blueprint for friendship... now how does that sound?

Is it really that easy? To look into somebody's eyes, see stars that shine brighter than those on the clearest of nights and feel as if you could just lean in.... is it really that easy to kill that feeling right there and then? To have an abortion of the heart b4 it's even had the chance to come to lyfe?

[Beatboxx] the beat's back! And we 'bust it wide open w/ a mutha-luvin bat! '
And I feel as if I've just woken up from memories of a cold war. Breaking out in a cold sweat. Does she remember? Did she see it? Maybe she didn't notice... that look I gave her. So dark, when her eyes are closed. But.... when they open.... a part of me comes to lyfe.
