Coming Home To Your Heart (Sonnet #162) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Coming Home To Your Heart (Sonnet #162)

Sweet is each moment we spend together
My heart feels reborn, my life you adorn
Eons back we loved, a love meant forever
How I long to gaze at your eyes each morn.

You believe and stand by me. This is love.
You caress my heart with your tenderness
And embrace my soul when the moon shows off
With you I found life, laughters, happiness.

Nothing compares the feel of coming home
Coming home to your heart, my paradise
Not a dull and boring home made of stone
A home wider than the sky where our souls thrive.

But I must confess that I lost all keys
Captive I surrender to you — endlessly.
