Coming Of Age Poem by Camden Bentley

Coming Of Age

Rating: 5.0

there is something fatal
in the eyes of a young man
an imperceptible danger
a bitterness inspired by itself

before his fate is decided
the audience must believe
a prayer in the dark
the process of disappointment

now he must sleep
to remedy the intense flame

how will he move on?

forget family and friends
the tedious promise

to come of age
means to leave behind
the science of risk
