Communion With Jesus Poem by Royston Allen

Communion With Jesus

I broke the bread with Jesus Christ today
and I was at a loss at what to say.
For He had carried all of my disgrace;
when He hung upon the cross in my place.

I drank the wine with Jesus Christ today
and I was at a loss at what to say.
For His precious blood had been shed for me
when He laid down His life at Calvary.

For Jesus had poured out His life in death
Crying out for my soul with His final breath.
as He cried out aloud 'Father Forgive'
Sacrificing His life that I might live.
