Two dreams for fairness, side by side,
To make the gap in wealth subside.
Socialism, a gentle, steady hand,
A stepping stone across the land.
The people's voice, a guiding light,
Through voting, making things more right.
The Government steps in, a helpful friend,
To share the wealth, until the end.
You work, you earn, you get your share,
Your home, your things, to hold with care.
But Communism, a bolder quest,
A final peace, a perfect rest.
It asks for change, a mighty sweep,
To wake the world from slumber deep.
No boss, no owner, all is shared,
No private things, no one is spared.
For all you give, the world will meet,
Your needs, your wants, a comfort sweet.
The Government will fade, its work is done,
A classless world, for everyone.
