Compassion To The Man In Sorrow
the man whose heart is broken
who lurks in surrender
sitting on the floor
covering his head with his hands
his lips tasting the salt of
his tears
sobbing
he needs to be left alone
what he needs most is the compassion
of your letting him go
letting him think about what to do next
with his life in such a short moment
give him the wide latitude of silence
his soul is speaking and he must
listen
