Complications Of The Flesh Poem by Born Frustrated

Complications Of The Flesh

Rating: 4.5

Two bodies pressed against one another
Impossible to tell where one ends and where one begins
No use in tiring to pry them apart. Don’t even bother
Their loves extends beyond the heart, the skin, the body....

Beyond time and space
Their souls simply collide, for eternity
Don’t get me wrong, there’s no place
They’d rather be, then in the arms of their lover

They softly caress one another
And whisper, 'I love you'
And how they'd never be with any other
But these simple words, tend

To end

In pain, and sorrow...

For she left him
For another
He can only think of them
Together, two souls, paired as one

But now he's gone
A swift kick of the chair
And now his minds free
And there's no more pain to bear

His soul now extends to everywhere....

And no where

You have said all there is to say. Human relationships are fraught with the unexpected and are troubled. Fine write.
