POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this single sentence poem as a freshman in high school and submitted it for the yearly literary magazine anonymously. (At age 15, thought I'd be considered a nerd for doing such a thing.) It got published with an illustration done by another student in the middle fold! Wished I'd taken credit, then! .
