God, my Father, strong and true,
Made the sky and earth anew.
Jesus Christ, His Son so dear,
Our Lord, banishing all of fear.
Born of Spirit, Mary's child,
Suffered, died, then slept so mild.
Down to darkness, then he woke,
Rose again, the chains all broke.
Up to heaven, He did soar,
At God's right hand, forevermore.
Judge of all, both alive and gone,
He will come, his work will be done.
Holy Spirit, near me still,
Church of God, my heart to fill.
Saints all gathered, side by side,
Sins forgiven, nowhere to hide.
Body lives, it won't decay,
Everlasting, come what may.
Amen.
