Conflicts Poem by RIC BASTASA

Conflicts

when there are so many fruits
when the weather is too fine for you
when you are too good to be true
when you appear with a smile and
when they hear you sing and give
to the world a hearty laughter
in there, at that precise point
when you think confidently
otherwise, the conflict
begins.

envy, as healthy as
a buffalo, is born.
