Confluence Poem by Shruti Goswami

Confluence

Beyond the ethereal fusion of dreams,
Beckoned a starry night;
And honeydews with misty taste,
With fires burning bright.
And dreams arose from foggy waters,
Sweet childhood memories filled to brim,
The sky that sent a thousand clouds,
Cascading in a stream.

The heaven and earth now stood conjoined,
At the altar of love, redefined;
As hope floats on nebulous clouds,
Amidst devastating tornados, enshrined;
Tumbles on the haze of water below;
And rises, with souls intertwined.

Behold the sight! And look beyond
Through the brumous water and sky;
The yellow orb, the light of life,
The glowing sun still shines.
