Fearless - Poem by Shruti Goswami
This searing pain,
I can take no more;
It's causing me to burn,
To the core;
And I feel;
Oh! what a bullet could've done,
Shot in silence, through the grey cells of your brain;
Running on tracks like a bullet train;
Trapped in its own track.
A vicious circle, its never ending;
Until the whole blood: it drains.
Leaves behind a void, haunting entreaties;
And a huff of smoke in place of a tear.
Now, blind am I, I can see no more;
I do not fear.
