Confused Poem by Kayla Jacobs

I told him i didn't love him
he still stayed and fought
what does this mean?
He always said if i ever wanted it to end
just say you don't love me
and ill leave you alone
i did yet he is still here
why is this?
what have i done that made him stay?
im confused as i asked him this
all he said was...
i love you and know you didn't mean it
i lied and a hurt him
yet he is still here fighting for me everyday
what have i done to deserve this love?
when all i do is hurt him
i don't deserve him
he deserves so much better
