Confuzzled Poem by Inspired Dreamer

Confuzzled

Rating: 5.0

A pitiful tear rolls down my cheek
Not a whimper to be heard
The back of my throat tender and dry
Not to utter a word

Let it ferment in my chambered dungeon
Cermented to my soul
The weight of emptiness burys within
No lights flicker
No stars shine

Silence is my companion
Pain coupled with my fate
Empty greetings filled with poisoned gestures
Like a chalice overflowing with venom
His lips, his fists, his protective arms and insightful glance
It tears me apart

Damn me, damn him
I hate the world and everything within
Just rip out my heart cast it aside
Let it rot on the sideway along with my hopes and dreams, ambitions and future.
