Connections Poem by Sidney Spencer

Connections

What r u connected 2?
Connected to your seed that you would speed to bleed for
They grow up and walk out the door.
Connected to your mother until there was another
Man or wife who became your life
Who shares with you dares with you to start a new life
And you should beware there can will be some strife in your life
That you must overcome a new life
As your new son looks to you
For your daughter everything should be in order
I am the stick by which she'll measure and not some dudes dick
You have to forgive me for beings so blunt on that one Im not gonna stunt.
Where we at oh yeah connections
What r u connected to
I don't know I just wanna serve but sometimes life just throws us a curve
Sometimes u feel like choken
Sometimes you feel like choken
Somebody
That's what connections due.
Sometimes a connection will make you look like fool
So you takem to school and play letm know your the fool
Today but not in the words you say but what your due
For all you do.
Connections this that and the other thing
Sometimes you wing it and tellm to bring it
Cause sometimes they want to clown you
Put a frown on you
But keep your cool your no fool
Will play another on another day and turn the frown around get it.
Connection sometime we want it so bad glad and eventually sad
Cause the connection was bad that we just cussed and fussed
Cause that connection was just one giant bust.
Then we put the puzzle book down and go do something with someone and have fun cause we have a connection.
