Conquering Paradise Poem by Iohannes Silvaticus

Conquering Paradise

I want you
To feel

The power of my sword unsheathed -

The full bladed glory
Of my passions.

Beneath the scimitar moon,
I gaze upon your mountains,
The ridges,
Clasp your soil.

I wage war on your Earth,
Conquer your territories,
Usurp your throne,
And place you on my saddle.

I will make you mine,
I will ride you home.

Plant your claws into my back!
I will leave your lands ravaged!

Then cleanse you with
The milk and honey of mine.
Let spring forth
Roses of your sweet laments!

Will you,
Deny my rule?

Paradise cannot be conquered by sword. A nice poem filled with intense passion, as Chitra said.
