Do you hear the voice inside
telling you right from wrong?
Did you push it out and hide
Is it really gone?

How do you make decisions
to serve your selfish needs
its to bad that voice is gone
not there to intercede

Living life for here and now
not seeing the best part
looking only far and wide
ignoring your own heart

the unexamined life is not worth living
its not good to only take
pretty soon no one will be giving
and your heart will surely break
