I ask you why? You say because...
I know it's true, what is, once was

You think I might? I will! I must!
That's what it takes to build the trust

I could, You shall, I guess, You may,
All acts are now out on display

You wish I would? perhaps I should!
And now I'm being misunderstood

I pray that you regain your sight,
For at the tunnel's end is light

You see, won't say 'I'm all of that'...
You ate your cake and want it back?

I know, I tried, I do, I hope...
And there I find the strength to cope
