Consistency/Change Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Consistency/Change

listen as lavender flowers grow
inhale the warmth of the summer breeze
watch as a gripping symphony swells
smoothing stone on shores of days gone by
pounding and crashing…caught up in the surge
back to the sea…returning relentlessly
time never gives a thought to ceasing its spell
as a constant sweep of consistency leads
the seasonal changes under the moon's glow…
marking the fading days that lead to eternity
