Conspicuous Flowers Poem by Abdulsamad Brainbucx

Conspicuous Flowers

Conspicuous Flowers

Contemplating feeling
Emanating from the pistil
Whenever its time to bloom
Rewarding is the feeling
The invisible glow
Illuminating the filament
Inconspicuously preparing
The anther's sole motherly role
Deep inside the pollen
Lies an unfathomable sadness
The sadness of leaving home
Nonetheless the petals
Just speculating on their own
Cause the petals don't really know
But with a single snarf
The pollen's on it's way
To eradicate this enigma
That suddenly stumbled on it's fate
It never knew that a stigma
Could make it feel so good
Going through all these rituals
The despicable ceased to exist
When it is fully understood.

This is the pure beauty of botany.....versed in the most lovely poetic way...The arrival of spring in all her glory, the birth of a flower is her story...I liked this poem a lot...keep writing!
