Constant Prayers Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Constant Prayers

Rating: 2.3

They say 'Life is worth living',
They say 'Be thankful for what you have got',
I try to always remember
When my Life is worth 'not a jot'.

When Life hits a low level,
When the only way is up,
Why do I stay ~ on the ground?
Why can not good luck for me, be found?

When depression rides with me,
With me, ~ day by day,
They say 'Hope springs eternal',
If for it, I constantly pray.

My prayers will soon be answered,
I know they will be soon,
But not when I do wish it,
In HIS time; ~ before the New Moon?

My Faith it is enduring,
Like HIS Love for you and me,
I just need more patience,
And Faith in HIM ~ continually.
