Constantly Poem by Kathryn Cox

Constantly

Rating: 5.0

In this situation,
I am always in.
Knowing an outcome,
knowing I would blame.
hold it in further,
so no ones see's.
Then pretend it's cool.
Lie your way there.
It's unfortunate how I stumble.
I stumble through my lie's.
I wait it out,
until it goes away.
go away lie's,
stop following me.
I am haunted by you.
stop following me.

The lies always continue their pursuit. Yes it's possible to lead them astray once in a while, but the result is always the same. They catch up to you, punish you for your actions, then punish you again for summoning them. The truth indeed sets you free.
