Consumed With Insanity - Poem by Leo Lopes

Pain I make you feel
Pain like no other
There's no time to heal
Now you must suffer
And when you suffer, think of me and how we both loved her

She was my only world
I feel it's time I let you know
But what you didn't know
I'll kill us both if she ever goes
And if I kill us both, she'll live on
And our eyes will close
And when our eyes are closed, she'll be happy
And we'll be comatose
And while we're comatose, she won't hear us
Unless she speaks to ghosts

I get into your mind, so deep
It might cut ya
How could you go to sleep?
When you and I meet, that's when I cut ya

If I stay in this room with these memories i'll be torn apart
Throw my blood on canvas and make my death some sick form of art
Silent heart cries, dreams die
Empty from the start
Candles in the night, red over white
From light into dark
Dark into light, knife in hands
From hands into heart
Empty heart bleeds, weak in knees
No life flow in palms
Calm as a stream, die slow
I'll do us both some harm

Another poem about the internal conflict.
I was going to call this 'From Within' Part 2 but thought of a new title all together
