Contradictions Poem by Aryaa Gupta

Contradictions

It is all too true
That one's happiness spells
another's doom.

It is all too swell
That we can accept a dead body's
foul smell.

It is all too teasing
That some stay warm while others
stay freezing.

It is all too incorrect
That few folks thrive while harm comes to those
we protect.

Ends aplenty,
We strive and we struggle
To protect a dying world,
while the Gods above chuckle.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I tried experimenting with a different style of poetry this time around, so here you go! This one is definitely shorter than my other poems, but I think it has the same effect!
