Contradictions Poem by Boudhayan Mukherjee

Contradictions

Rating: 5.0

How your language in print
Matters so much
When none can read
While winds change directions
Massive waves of winds
Turn you to nothing
The hypnotic sea waves too
Fearful beauties they are

I knew not if I should
Take my son far off from the edge
Of the sea
He was awed
I don't know if from fear
Or the vengeance of beauty in turmoil
Or my face blackened by remorse.

Immortality is nothing but the sea
Churning life infinitely [oh dear]
And I a poetic turd [call me as you will]
Look at the sea and change color
Of my eyes # my love # my death
Contradictions cloud my anguished needs
A fruited tree # a winter # divine laziness
Oh let me lie without calling you
For help.
