Contradictions Poem by Sylomun Weah

Contradictions

Affirmatively denoting denials
Alteration of utterances
Indication of inconsistencies
Ponder and wonder a bit longer
For in reality, duality is inevitably
A part of every existence
Lawmakers being lawbreakers
Pessimists and optimists
Protectors and destroyers
Positivity degenerating into negativity
Female turning into male
And male becoming female
Duplication complicates authenticity
Science seriously confronts religion
Pseudo-science defies science
And religion battles religion
Propagation and renunciation
Emancipation and subjection
Exaggeration and omission
Eradicating and implementing
Unlimited as this is; I exit
With the firm belief of the entitlement
Of the expressed opinions of others
Theirs may contradict mine
Nevertheless, this is my line
And as time is the duration
Of the period of consciousness
I dropp my pen and vacate
