Coppice Poem by Christopher Tye

Coppice

Rating: 5.0

Coppice

Charcoal burners in a freshly coppiced woodland,
Old bodgers making spindles out of Ash,
Pole lathes for turning green wood,
Perfect combination of man and nature working together,
Impressive baskets woven from coppiced Willow,
Coppiced Hazel being made into hurdles,
Entirely sustainable woodland management.

Woodland is the treasure of the nature. A nice piece of acrostic.
