Cops Killing Blacks Or Mass Shootings Poem by Akeem Mair

Cops Killing Blacks Or Mass Shootings

If it ain't cops killing blacks
And they still avoid prison cells
It's a suicidal shooter taking lives
And killing themselves
I'm like where the hell is my law?
To protect us from the evil
its the government's fault
Like racism and easy access to guns
doesn't register a flaw
Until somebody dies
And now it's an important worldly cause
We just pause for a moment
and then pray to God
Then forget about it the next day
Like it didn't happen at all
How many people have to die
Until I become a victim?
like I'm waiting for my turn
And until the devil sends him
I am tired of being an American
If this is what it is
You think the enemies live overseas
But they been here since I was a kid
Ain't nobody gonna listen to me
Until somebody starts shootin
And then it's another big news story
But without no solutions
