Cordell Pumpkin Festival - Poem by Marilyn Lott

Cordell is buzzing once again
The town is at its best
As the yearly festival begins
Folks turn out with vigor and zest

And the pumpkins are at their peak
Activities are widely spread
In a town that is so unique
There’s an exciting day ahead

Stop at the soda fountain awhile
A drink and snack will perk up your day
Where the food and drinks are amazing
You might just want to stay

T-shirts are worn for the important event
Designed with quite a style
Join our Cordell pumpkin festival right now
‘Cause it’s gonna make you smile!
