Cornered Poem by Dustin Burel

Cornered

Find yourself cornered,
And find yourself trapped,
Find that all the stress,
Has got you all wrapped,

Notice in the corner,
Who keeps you there?
To scrape at your feelings,
And act as if they care,

They control what you do,
And claim that they love,
Just so they can feel,
Like there up above,

They give you no space,
And show no respect,
They cling to your arm,
But what can you expect,

I see an angel,
And he see’s property.
