Correct Decisions Poem by Barry Van Allen

Correct Decisions

It is a fine distinction,
though a distinction, just the same,
sitting on the finer points,
is so very often painful.

Sometimes, it is best to lose,
the battle of the sexes,
in order to keep peace between,
and stay in touch with common sense.

Choose your battles well, they say,
I suppose that they have known,
'cause they have hoisted victory flags,
on battlefields... alone!

I am a firm believer in choosing your battles carefully. It's all about winning the war...not necessarily...the battle...: -) Hugs, Dee
