Correspondence Poem by Georgene Lane

Correspondence

I have a friend who lives far away
but through the mail we seem to say,
things each other likes to hear,
what we've been doing throughout the year. "Do you remember . . . ?" this,
"Do you remember . . . ?" that,
It's like we're having a little chat. When we were young, she lived next door,
there were so many things to do and explore,
and now that I've found my friend again,
it's great to say "Remember when . . . ?"
