Corsets. Poem by Tom Allport

Corsets.

They were once
All the style
Gave your posture
A more idealised guise
Yet to put one on
Was like being set upon
By someone who pushed and pulled
Then kneed you in the back
To finally trussing you up
Like a turkey cock.
